Computer Scientist (St. John's)
Qualifications:Engineering or Data Science degree, Masters or PhD preferred. Excellent data manipulation, visualization, and math skills required. Visualization, imaging, networking, and compression experience would all be an asset.
You'll be working in our systems team to create the next generation of CODECs and systems that allow for holographic displays.
Major paradigm shifts are required on how we think about what and how we see, data and how it can traverse a system, and how we can combine all of the concepts needed to create a holographic display.
As a data scientist, you will be responsible for the architecture, specification, coding, and test of the algorithms and supporting infrastructure needed to create the holographic display
Semiconductor Systems Engineer (St. John's)
Qualifications: Engineering or Science degree, Masters or PhD preferred. Semiconductor or thin film fabrication experience required. Holistic mindset is needed in order to understand all the moving parts
that go into this role
As part of the systems team, you will help guide the material selection, process design, and fabrication of the next generation of information display. You will be part of the glue that specifies and coordinates this effort.
More directly, you will be responsible for the specification, review, and coordination of the systems and processes needed to fabricate a holographic display
Process Design Engineer (St. John's)
Qualifications: Engineering or Science degree, Masters or PhD preferred. Semiconductor or thin film fabrication experience required. Attention to detail on thin film and semiconductor process design is required.
As part of the process design team, you will work with our materials and systems team to design the fabrication process of the holographic display. You will be responsible for the architecture, specification, and test of the process and materials needed to create the holographic display, and the supporting design kits necessary for the holographic display creation
Engineering Technologist (St. John's)
Qualifications: Relevant diploma or better. Excellent mechanical dexterity, attention to detail, and a passion for making things work and look the best.
As part of the Avalon team, you'll be responsible for assembling and testing our holographic displays. These are very high precision systems, and you'll need the patience and desire to make things near perfect
if you want to succeed in this role. You'll follow the processes put together by our optics, mechanical, and systems teams when assembling these displays, and provide feedback on how we can get better.
Sometimes we've filled our past positions, but we're always on the lookout for new people. If you fit one of these past open positions and you're interested, reach out! Maybe we can find something here for you
