The Avalon Holographics team is a tight-knit group of engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, systems architects, designers, visionaries, and subject matter experts, leading groups that specialize in: 

• Optics/Photonics 

• Numerical Modeling 

• Spectroscopy

• Material Chemistry 

• Laser Physics 

Since 2015, the team has grown to over 70 staff with a combined 16 PhDs from multiple countries. With chefs, athletes, homebrewers, musicians, activists, gardeners, gamers and plenty of foosball all-stars, we’re a diverse team of entrepreneurial thinkers working together to achieve our goal of building the world’s most advanced holographic displays.  

From our co-op students to our senior leaders, every member of the team has ownership over their work to encourage creativity and collaboration. We work hard, but we keep it balanced with plenty of social activities like daily yoga and stretching, team meals and outings, and our weekly Friday afternoon happy hour. We have also found the creative use of donuts to be a very effective motivational tool as both stick and carrot.

We think Avalon Holographics is a pretty great place to work, and we’ve built an incredible team of individuals who share our vision and values.
