Avalon Holographics has received the Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association’s (ACADA) 2026 Innovation Leader Award, presented during DEFSEC Atlantic in Halifax.
The award recognizes more than a decade of Newfoundland and Labrador research and development behind NOVAC™, our true holographic table display. NOVAC enables multiple people to explore complex 3D information together without glasses, headsets, or eye tracking.
Founded in St. John’s in 2015, Avalon now employs approximately 80 people. Our technology supports aerospace and defence applications including mission planning, training, and situational awareness, helping teams build shared understanding and make better-informed decisions.
We are proud to see our team’s work recognized and to contribute to Atlantic Canada’s aerospace and defence technology sector.
