MEET THE TEAM: REBECCA COOK

Rebecca Cook is the Human Resources Manager and joined the Avalon Holographics team in 2019.

Rebecca’s number one goal is to make sure the team is happy. She does this through fostering and driving personnel initiatives and programs, notably: employee engagement, recruiting, compensation planning, training & development, retention & culture and diversity. Rebecca continually strives to ensure Avalon's goals align team practices and programs with the company’s business objectives. Rebecca acts as an employee resource for questions, challenges and is continually brainstorming to proactively address difficult employee related issues and arrive at an optimal resolution.

What motivates her everyday is working with an incredibly smart and talented group of people who are passionate about the work they are doing. Working in an industry unlike any of her previous roles, she is most excited about having the opportunity to work on something really cool while putting her 15+ years of HR experience to use. For Rebecca, 3D technology used to mean wearing paper glasses while watching a 3D movie in a theatre, but that has certainly changed since starting with Avalon.

Rebecca is Avalon’s champion of happiness and is committed to the team’s success. In her spare time, you can find Rebecca busy with interior design projects at home, out for a walk or relaxing with her little man, sharing a bowl of candy.
